Write with the head. Write with the heart. I did both (not necessarily in that order), and my backlist of 15 fiction books is the result of that particular collaboration.
Now I’m in the process of turning over a new leaf in promoting my books – the leaf is much heavier than expected, btw – and I’ve acquired another collaborator in the person of Betty Ann Harris at Love Writers Promotions. This is the first day of our 6-month partnership experiment, with Betty promoting my books through social media channels and me tracking any consequential increased sales and/or interest. Betty Ann’s very first Facebook post for What We Carry With Us came out today and it’s a beauty.

The post’s results remain to be seen, of course, and everything takes time, but really, can a person have too much of a good thing? Doubtful. So here’s hoping that two collaborations are better than one.
